Hannah Wu is a Taiwanese-born, New York–based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, olfactory art, sculpture, and installation. Using acrylic, plaster, resin, fragrance, and found materials, her practice explores how scent, memory, and visual form can evoke one another. Through recurring motifs such as shadows, perfume vessels, suspended plaster sculptures, and hand-cast objects, she investigates the relationship between the visible and the invisible, transforming ephemeral experiences into tangible forms.

Alongside her studio practice, Wu is the founder of Perfume Who, an independent fragrance studio that approaches perfume as an artistic medium. Working with both natural and synthetic aromatic materials, she develops small-batch fragrances alongside sculptural objects, photography, film, and spatial installations, creating immersive narratives inspired by memory, dreams, and experimental cinema.

Wu studied Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the Art of Perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles, France, and earned a master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University. Influenced by the films of Maya Deren and Stan Brakhage, her work examines subconscious perception, absence, materiality, and the ways scent can be communicated beyond language.

Her work has been presented internationally through exhibitions, galleries, boutiques, and design fairs, including Milan Design Week, Paris Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week. Through both her artistic practice and Perfume Who, Wu continues to explore the intersection of contemporary art, olfactory experience, and material experimentation.
